Hericium erinaceus (lion's mane mushroom) and Trametes Versicolor (Turkey tail mushroom) and neurodegeneration.
There is a fascinating study on Lion's mane mushroom (hericium erinaceus) and Turkey Tail mushroom (Trametes Versicolor or Coriolus Versicolor) and their effects on brain injury. In a study (reference below) the researchers state "...nutritional fungi such as Hericium erinaceus and Coriolus versicolor may be important in redox stress response mechanisms and neuroprotection, preventing the progression of neurodegenerative diseases such as PD." This is particularly good news for those with Traumatic brain injury and resultant Parkinsons disease. This research suggests that the ingredients inside MYCOMATRIX and MYCOBRAIN could be helpful in neuro-degenarative conditions like dementia, alzheimers and more. How exciting!!...
